How do you spot genuine ZENSO Kuro Daitto in Singapore? 6 checks before you buy (QR code)

Short answer: To check ZENSO Kuro Daitto is genuine, start by scanning the anti-counterfeit QR code on the pack. Before you buy, choose a distributor who can show proof of authorisation. When it arrives, check the factory seal, the expiry date, that the box holds 30 sachets, and that the flavour and ingredients are right. Listings priced far below normal may be old stock, repackaged sachets, or not Kuro Daitto at all.

What should I check before I buy?

1. Scan the QR code first

When your order arrives, scan the anti-counterfeit QR code on the pack before anything else. If it doesn't verify, or there is no QR code, don't open it. Contact the seller straight away.

2. Can the seller show proof of authorisation?

Ask directly. An authorised distributor can show it and won't mind being asked. That goes for us too.

3. Is the price unreasonably low?

If it is much cheaper than S$135 a box and sold as "clearance" or "last few boxes", ask where the stock came from and when it expires. If the seller can't say, don't take the risk.

4. Is the factory seal intact?

Check the box seal hasn't been opened or re-stuck, and that the box isn't crushed or damp. Film yourself opening the parcel. It makes any problem easier to sort out.

5. Is the expiry date clear?

The expiry date should be printed clearly, not scratched off or covered by a sticker. If it is close to expiry, ask before you order.

6. Count the sachets once it's open

A box should hold 30 sachets, each intact and not leaking, in the flavour you ordered. Loose sachets sold one by one are the hardest to trace.

Why not buy on Shopee, Lazada or Carousell?

Most listings on Shopee, Lazada or Carousell are third-party resellers outside the authorised channel. The usual problems: no clear source, possible old stock or repackaging, unknown storage (Singaporen heat in a warehouse or a parked car can affect the product), nobody responsible if something goes wrong, and no money-back guarantee.

Why is there no KKM MAL number?

Because it is a food, a meal replacement. MAL numbers are given to medicines and supplements, and NPRA classifies Kuro Daitto as food. So the main ways to check it is genuine are the anti-counterfeit QR code, the factory seal and an authorised channel.

Are all three flavours Halal?

No. The JAKIM Halal certificate covers Chocolate and Vanilla Macadamia. Coffee is the newer flavour and isn't on that certificate, so we don't describe it as Halal.

Is the Daitto in ZENSO programmes the same product?

Yes, it is the same product. ZENSO Lite includes 2 boxes, ZENSO Advance and ZENSO Pro include 3 boxes each, ZENSO GLPro includes 2 boxes, and the ZENSO 7-Day Trial Pack has 21 sachets.
