How do you spot genuine ZENSO GLPro? 6 checks before you buy in Malaysia (QR code)

Short answer: The quickest way to check ZENSO GLPro is genuine is to scan the anti-counterfeit QR code on every box. Before you buy, choose a distributor who can show proof of authorisation. When it arrives, check all six boxes are there: 2 boxes of Kuro Daitto, 1 Kuro Shuga, 1 Kuro Oiru, 1 box of Kuro Mizu and 1 box of Jung Kwan Jang GLPro Core (21 × 25ml bottles). Then check the seals, expiry dates and ingredients. Sets sold much cheaper on Shopee, Lazada or Carousell are mostly third-party resales of unclear origin, and problems are hard to trace.

Heads-up: Wellous has issued a notice asking customers not to buy on Shopee, Lazada, Carousell or other third-party platforms. Many listings there are fake, plenty of people only find out after buying, and some sellers pretend to be us.

What does a genuine set look like?

What are the 6 checks?

1. Scan the QR code first

When the parcel arrives, scan the anti-counterfeit QR code on each box. If it won't verify, or there's no QR code, don't open it. Contact the seller straight away.

2. Can the seller show proof of authorisation?

Just ask. An authorised distributor can show it and won't mind. The same goes for us: you can ask.

3. Is the price unreasonably low?

If it's far below the usual price and comes with "last few sets" or "warehouse clearance", ask where the stock came from and when it expires. If the answer is vague, don't take the risk.

4. Are all six boxes there and sealed?

Check especially that GLPro Core is a full box of 21 bottles and that Daitto is 2 boxes. Look for seals that have been opened or re-stuck. Film yourself opening the parcel.

5. Are the expiry dates clear?

Every box should have a clearly printed expiry date, not scratched off or covered with a sticker. If it's close to expiring, ask before you order.

6. Check the ingredients list

A genuine set matches: GLPro Core has ginsenosides Rg1+Rb1+Rg3, bitter melon and banaba leaf; Daitto has Slimaluma®; Shuga has CQR-300®; Oiru has Morosil®; Mizu has CactiNea™. If it doesn't match, don't take it.

Why not buy on Shopee, Lazada or Carousell?

Most listings on Shopee, Lazada or Carousell are third-party resales outside the authorised channel. The common problems: unclear origin, unknown storage (Malaysia is hot, and products left in a warehouse or a car in the sun can be affected), no one to hold responsible if something goes wrong, and no money-back guarantee.

Buying from an authorised distributor is how you get advisor follow-up, the Wellous gifts, free delivery across Malaysia and the 30-day money-back guarantee.

What should I do when it arrives?

• Check and scan first, then open.
• Keep it in a cool, dry place, and don't leave it in the car.
• Read the ingredients once before you start: Kuro Daitto contains whey protein and soy; Kuro Oiru contains chitosan and isn't suitable if you have a shellfish allergy.
