How do you spot genuine RELAZZ Sleep Drink in Malaysia? 6 checks before you buy (QR code)

Short answer: The quickest way to check RELAZZ Sleep Drink is genuine is to scan the anti-counterfeit QR code on the box. Before you buy, choose a distributor who can show proof of authorisation. When it arrives, check the seal, expiry date, product name and ingredients. Listings priced far below normal may be old stock, badly stored stock, or not genuine at all.

Heads-up: Wellous has issued a notice asking customers not to buy on Shopee, Lazada, Carousell or other third-party platforms. Many listings there are fake, plenty of people only find out after buying, and some sellers pretend to be us.

What does a genuine box look like?

What should I check before I buy?

1. Scan the QR code first

When your order arrives, scan the anti-counterfeit QR code on the box before anything else. If it doesn't verify, or there is no QR code, don't open it. Contact the seller straight away.

2. Can the seller show proof of authorisation?

Ask directly. An authorised distributor can show it and won't mind being asked. That goes for us too.

3. Is the price unreasonably low?

If it is much cheaper than RM239 a box and sold as "last few boxes" or "clearance", ask where the stock came from and when it expires. If the seller can't say, don't take the risk.

4. Is the box sealed?

Check the seal hasn't been opened or re-stuck, and that the box isn't crushed or damp. Film yourself opening the parcel. It makes any problem easier to sort out.

5. Is the expiry date clear?

The expiry date should be printed clearly, not scratched off or covered by a sticker. If it is close to expiry, ask before you order.

6. Count the sachets once it's open

A box should hold 20 sachets, each intact and not leaking. The name and ingredient list should match the table above.

Why not buy on Shopee, Lazada or Carousell?

Most listings on Shopee, Lazada or Carousell are third-party resellers outside the authorised channel. The usual problems: no clear source, unknown storage (Malaysian heat in a warehouse or a parked car can affect the product), nobody responsible if something goes wrong, and no money-back guarantee.

Buying from an authorised distributor gets you sealed boxes, advisor support and the 30-day money-back guarantee.

What should I do once it arrives?

• Check the box and scan the code before you open it.
• Store it somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight. Don't leave it in the car.
• Read the ingredient list before you drink it. It contains milk protein, so don't drink it if you have a milk allergy.

Frequently asked questions

Why doesn't RELAZZ have a MAL number?

It doesn't need one. RELAZZ is a food, not a drug. NPRA classifies it as a food product, not one controlled by the Drug Control Authority, and the Ministry of Health's Food Safety and Quality Division reviewed its label with no objection. So the main ways to check it is genuine are the QR code and an authorised channel.

Is RELAZZ Halal?

Yes. A JAKIM Halal certificate names AEMIS RELAZZ (MS 1500:2019). Halvec Laboratories, on JAKIM's lab panel, tested for porcine DNA and found none.

Is a much cheaper listing online always fake?

Not always, but the risk is much higher. The source, storage and expiry date are hard to confirm, and there is no money-back guarantee. For something you drink, a clear source matters more than saving a little.

If I buy from you, how do I know it's genuine?

We are an authorised distributor. Boxes ship sealed, and you can scan each one's QR code. If you are not satisfied, you get a full refund within 30 days.
