How do you spot genuine MOVEON? 6 checks before you buy in Malaysia (QR check)

Short answer: The quickest way to check genuine MOVEON is to scan the anti-counterfeit QR code on the back of the box and enter the security code. Before you buy, choose a distributor who can show proof of authorisation. When it arrives, check the factory seal, expiry date, name and ingredients. Listings on Shopee, Lazada or Carousell are mostly third-party resellers outside the authorised channel, with no advisor support and no money-back guarantee.

Heads-up: Wellous has issued a notice asking customers not to buy on Shopee, Lazada, Carousell or other third-party platforms. Many listings there are fake, plenty of people only find out after buying, and some sellers pretend to be us.

What does genuine MOVEON look like?

What are the 6 checks before you buy?

1. Scan the QR code first

When your order arrives, scan the QR code on the back of the box, then enter the security code. If it doesn't show a verification result, or there is no QR code, don't open it. Contact the seller straight away.

2. Ask the seller for proof of authorisation

Just ask. An authorised distributor can show it and won't mind. The same goes for us: feel free to ask.

3. Is the price unreasonably low?

UC-II®, Ovomet® and BonePep™ are patented ingredients and they aren't cheap. If the price is far below normal and the seller talks about "last few boxes" or "warehouse clearance", ask where the stock comes from and when it expires.

4. Is the box factory-sealed?

Check whether the box has been opened or resealed, and whether any sachet is damaged or leaking. Film yourself opening the parcel. It makes any problem easier to sort out.

5. Is the expiry date clear?

The expiry date should be printed clearly, not scratched off or covered by a sticker. If it's close to expiry, ask before you order.

6. Match the pack size and ingredients

A box should hold 16 sachets of 25ml, and the ingredient list should include UC-II®, Ovomet® and BonePep™. If the pack size or ingredients are very different, don't drink it.

Why we don't recommend buying on Shopee, Lazada or Carousell

Listings on Shopee, Lazada or Carousell are mostly third-party resellers outside the authorised channel. The usual problems: unclear source, unknown storage (Malaysia is hot, and stock left in a warehouse or a car can suffer), nobody responsible if something goes wrong, and no money-back guarantee.

Buy from an authorised distributor and you get QR verification, advisor support and the 30-day money-back guarantee.

What should you do when it arrives?

• Check and scan before you open it.
• Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Don't leave it in the car.
• Read the ingredient list once before drinking. MOVEON contains egg, so anyone allergic to egg must not take it.

Frequently asked questions

Is MOVEON halal?

Yes. MOVEON is Halal-certified by JAKIM, and a Halvec Laboratories certificate of analysis confirms no porcine ingredients.

Is a much cheaper listing online always fake?

Not always, but the risk is much higher. The source, storage and expiry are all hard to confirm, and there is no money-back guarantee. For something you drink, a clear source matters more than saving a little.

What do I do after scanning the QR code?

Enter the security code and you'll see the verification result. If it can't be verified, don't drink it, and contact the seller.

If I buy from you, how do I know it's genuine?

We are an authorised distributor. Every box ships factory-sealed with a QR code you can scan. Not happy? You get a full refund within 30 days.
