How do you spot genuine LIVEON? 6 checks before you buy in Malaysia (QR code)

Short answer: The quickest way to check genuine LIVEON is to scan the maker's anti-counterfeit QR code on the box. It takes less than a minute. Before you buy, choose a distributor who can show proof of authorisation. When it arrives, check the factory seal, expiry date, name and ingredients. Listings on Shopee, Lazada or Carousell are mostly third-party resellers outside the authorised channel, with no advisor support and no money-back guarantee.

Heads-up: Wellous has issued a notice asking customers not to buy on Shopee, Lazada, Carousell or other third-party platforms. Many listings there are fake, plenty of people only find out after buying, and some sellers pretend to be us.

What does genuine LIVEON look like?

6 checks before you buy

1. Scan the QR code first

When your order arrives, scan the anti-counterfeit QR code on the box. If it doesn't show a verification result, or there is no QR code, don't open it. Contact the seller straight away.

2. Ask the seller for proof of authorisation

Just ask. An authorised distributor can show it and won't mind. The same goes for us: feel free to ask.

3. Is the price unreasonably low?

If it is much cheaper than usual and sold as "last few boxes" or "clearance", ask where the stock comes from and when it expires. If the seller can't say, don't risk it.

4. Is the box factory-sealed?

Check the seal hasn't been opened or re-stuck, and that no sachets are torn or leaking. Recording a video as you unbox makes any problem easier to sort out.

5. Is the expiry date clear?

The expiry date should be clearly printed, not scratched off or covered by a sticker. If it is close to expiry, ask before you order.

6. Count and look

A box should hold 16 sachets of 20ml each. Check that the ingredient list names the 4 patented actives. If a sachet is swollen, leaking or tastes clearly wrong, don't drink it.

Why we don't suggest buying from Shopee, Lazada or Carousell

Listings on Shopee, Lazada or Carousell are mostly third-party resellers outside the authorised channel. The most common problems: you can't confirm the source, you don't know how it was stored (Malaysia is hot, and LIVEON should be kept somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sun), there is no one responsible if something goes wrong, and there is no advisor support or money-back guarantee.

Buying from an authorised distributor gets you QR verification, advisor follow-up and the 30-day money-back guarantee.

When your order arrives

• Check it and scan the QR code before you open it.
• Store it somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sun. Don't leave it in the car. If you like it cold, keep it in the fridge.
• Read the ingredient list before you drink it. If you are allergic to any ingredient, don't drink it.

Frequently asked questions

Does LIVEON have a MAL number?

LIVEON is a health functional food drink classified as a food, not a medicine. To check it is genuine, rely on the anti-counterfeit QR code on the box and buy from an authorised channel.

Is much cheaper LIVEON online always fake?

Not always, but the risk is much higher. The source, storage and expiry are all hard to confirm, and there is no advisor support or money-back guarantee. For something you drink every day, a clear source matters more than saving a little.

How do I know LIVEON from you is genuine?

We are an authorised distributor. Every box ships factory-sealed, and you can scan the QR code on each one. Not happy within 30 days? You get a full refund.

Is LIVEON Halal? Is it vegan?

Both. LIVEON is fully vegan and Halal certified, Halvec Laboratories confirms no porcine ingredients, and it is certified gluten-free.
