How do you take Kuro Oiru? How many a day, how long before meals, and what to take it with
Reviewed by Health Advisor Team
Short answer: Chew one ZENSO Kuro Oiru 30 minutes before lunch and another 30 minutes before dinner: two a day. You take it before the meal so the chitosan is already there when you start eating, ready to bind fat from that meal before your body absorbs it. It's a rose-milk chewable, so just chew, no water needed. A bottle of 60 lasts 30 days.

Why 30 minutes before the meal?
Tea after a meal comes too late: nothing was blocking the fat while it was in the meal. Kuro Oiru changes the order. Chew one tablet 30 minutes before you eat, and the formula is in place before the food arrives.
- Block: chitosan binds fat in the food you eat.
- Burn: L-carnitine sends fat to be burned for energy.
- Store less: Morosil® red orange and IGOB131® African mango help your body store less fat.
You take it before both meals because eating out brings oil in at two meals a day. And the 400 mg of Morosil® a day needs both tablets.
What happens in the first days?
- Week 1: the blocking starts with your first tablet. Oily meals stop sitting so heavy.
Everyone responds differently. You'll get more from it with sensible meals and regular movement.
What can you take it with?
- Other ZENSO products: yes, that's the ZENSO routine. Kuro Mizu on waking, Kuro Daitto at breakfast, and Kuro Oiru and Kuro Shuga chewed before lunch and dinner.
- Already on a ZENSO set: ZENSO Lite, Advance and Pro, the Keep Burn Set, ZENSO GLPro and the 7-Day Trial Pack all include Kuro Oiru, so you don't need to buy it separately.
- Prescription medicine: if you are on medication, ask your doctor or pharmacist first.
Who can't take it, and who should ask a doctor first?
- Allergic to shellfish or crustaceans: don't take it (contains chitosan from crustacean shells)
- Allergic to any ingredient in the formula: don't take it
- Pregnant or breastfeeding: ask your doctor first
- On medication or managing a long-term condition: ask your doctor or pharmacist first
- Under 18: not suitable
Not seeing changes? What to adjust
- Check you take it before both meals: one meal only, or taking it when you remember, makes it hard to judge.
- Get the timing right: 30 minutes before, not after. Keep a tablet in your bag for work meals and dinners out.
- Measure your starting point: tape measure and scale, checked once a week.
- Give it time: take it for at least 30 days.
- Ask your advisor: they can plan when to chew around your lunches, dinners and work meals. Take it properly for 30 days and feel no genuine difference? You get a full refund.
