Does ISODUCE Plus actually work? Ingredients, research, lab tests and who it suits (Malaysia 2026)

Reviewed by Health Advisor Team

Short answer: FEMOIRE ISODUCE Plus is a Health Functional Food for women in their 30s and 40s: one 3g drink sachet a day. On a 51% elderflower-powder base it carries 8 actives: 300mg of KSM-66® ashwagandha, soy isoflavones (6.7%, about 200mg), Pueraria mirifica, L-arginine, cranberry, manjakani and vitamins D3 and E. Together they work on three paths: hormonal balance, stress and intimate comfort, and urinary tract health. The ingredients have been studied; ISODUCE Plus itself has not been through a clinical trial. Wellous reports that most women notice a shift in their cycle and mood in the first month, with intimate comfort and skin catching up around months 2–3. It is not a medicine, and results vary. Don't take it if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to conceive or have a hormone-sensitive condition.

The key points

  • What it is: a 3g, 11 kcal drink sachet on an elderflower-powder base. A box of 20 lasts 20 days at one sachet each morning.
  • How it works: steady your hormones (soy isoflavones + Pueraria mirifica + vitamin D3) → reconnect (L-arginine + KSM-66® ashwagandha + vitamin E) → protect your urinary tract (cranberry + manjakani + vitamin D3). The ingredients work together, so 1 + 1 > 2.
  • What data there is: per-sachet amounts from the Malaysian label; the USM toxicology lab detected no synthetic hormones and none of 231 drug compounds; ingredient studies (such as the KSM-66® studies in women) are listed below.
  • Who it suits: women in their 30s and 40s with mood swings, poor sleep, dryness, urinary discomfort that keeps coming back, or cycles getting irregular. From 45, take it alongside NOVIA.
  • Who it doesn't suit: women who are pregnant, breastfeeding or trying to conceive; anyone under 18; anyone with a current or past hormone-sensitive condition or taking an anti-estrogen medicine such as tamoxifen; anyone allergic to soy.

Why does topping up one thing never stick?

Dryness, fading desire and urinary discomfort that keeps returning look like separate problems, but they are often one loop. As estrogen falls, intimate tissue thins and dries, the friendly bacteria that protect you thin out, and bad bacteria cling on more easily. Intimacy becomes uncomfortable, you start avoiding it, stress rises, and a high stress hormone pushes desire down further.

A soy capsule covers your hormones, a cranberry capsule your urinary tract, a lubricant the moment itself. Break the loop at one point and it comes back round from another. ISODUCE Plus puts 8 actives in one sachet so all three paths get support together.

How does the formula match your needs?

Ingredient What it does Area
Elderflower powder (51%) The drink base; lightly floral, lightly sweet Easy to drink every day
KSM-66® ashwagandha extract (300mg a sachet, 10%) Helps your body manage stress; the studies in women used 600mg a day, which is 2 sachets Stress, desire
Soy isoflavones (6.7%, about 200mg) Gentle plant phytoestrogens that support hormonal balance and regular cycles Hormones, skin, bone
Pueraria mirifica (Thai white kwao krua) A plant phytoestrogen that favours intimate tissue Intimate comfort
L-arginine Helps blood flow more easily; natural lubrication depends on that flow Natural lubrication
Cranberry Makes it harder for bacteria to stick to the bladder wall, helping maintain urinary tract health Urinary tract
Manjakani (oak galls) Long used in Malay women's care; a supporting ingredient Intimate comfort
Vitamins D3 + E D3 helps you absorb calcium and supports your defences; E is an antioxidant Bone, urinary tract, skin

What does the ingredient research say?

To be clear: these studies tested the ingredients, not ISODUCE Plus itself, so the numbers are not a promise of your result.

  • KSM-66® ashwagandha: 50 women, 8 weeks, placebo-controlled, 600mg a day; total sexual function score (FSFI) up more than 75% (Dongre 2015, BioMed Res Int). A second study in 80 women found a similar result (Ajgaonkar 2022, Cureus).
  • Ashwagandha and stress: 64 stressed adults, 60 days, 600mg a day; the stress hormone cortisol fell 27.9% against 7.9% on placebo (Chandrasekhar 2012, Indian J Psychol Med; extract identified by the manufacturer as KSM-66®).
  • Soy isoflavones: 19 trials pooled; hot flush frequency down 20.6% and severity down 26.2% (Taku 2012, Menopause).
  • Oral Pueraria mirifica: 51 postmenopausal women, 24 weeks; less vaginal dryness and less discomfort during intimacy (Manonai 2007, Menopause).

The ashwagandha studies used 2 sachets' worth a day; Wellous suggests 1. If you want to follow the study amount, ask your advisor first.

Phytoestrogens, not hormones

This is the question women ask most. Soy isoflavones act at roughly a thousandth of the strength of your body's own estrogen, or less, and they lean towards bone, blood vessels and intimate tissue rather than breast and womb tissue. Pueraria mirifica is a good deal stronger than soy, which is why the people listed below really should leave it out.

ISODUCE Plus has its own certificate from the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) toxicology lab: no synthetic hormones detected, and none of 231 drug compounds detected either. NPRA, Ministry of Health Malaysia, classifies it as a food product.

Phytoestrogens don't suit everyone, though. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or trying to conceive, have or have had a hormone-sensitive condition, or take tamoxifen or an aromatase inhibitor, don't take it.

How should you read the data?

Per 3g sachet (Malaysian label)

  • Elderflower powder 51%
  • KSM-66® ashwagandha extract 300mg (10%)
  • Soy isoflavones 6.7% (about 200mg)
  • 11 kcal per sachet (1.0g sugars, 0g fat)

Lab testing

  • USM toxicology lab: no synthetic hormones detected
  • USM toxicology lab: none of 231 drug compounds detected
  • Lab reports: no heavy metals and no pathogenic microbes found

Timing (as Wellous describes it)

  • In the first month: most women notice a shift in their cycle and mood
  • Months 2–3: intimate comfort and skin catch up

The timing is Wellous's description of what women report. Most ingredient studies measured results at 8 weeks, and bone needs 12 months or more. Age, cycle and health differ from woman to woman, so your experience will too.

How is it made and certified?

  • JAKIM Halal certified
  • Manufactured in Malaysia by Nano Food (M) to GMP, HACCP and MeSTI standards
  • Classified as a food product by NPRA

ISODUCE Plus or NOVIA?

If perimenopause hasn't started, begin with ISODUCE Plus on its own. Once perimenopause starts, Wellous suggests taking the two together as the FEMOIRE Bloom Set: NOVIA plus a sachet of ISODUCE Plus each morning. Not sure which stage you're in? Ask an advisor first.

Frequently asked questions

Does ISODUCE Plus contain hormones?

ISODUCE Plus has its own certificate from the USM toxicology lab: no synthetic hormones detected. Its phytoestrogens come from soy isoflavones and Pueraria mirifica, which are plant compounds, and NPRA classifies it as a food product.

Has ISODUCE Plus itself been through a clinical trial?

No, and we won't pretend it has. The studies were done on its ingredients; KSM-66® ashwagandha, for example, has two studies in women. Every study figure here is an ingredient result, not a promise about ISODUCE Plus.

Isn't this just an expensive cranberry pill?

Cranberry is one of 8 actives and covers one of three paths. Each sachet also carries 300mg of KSM-66® ashwagandha, two plant phytoestrogens and L-arginine. Compare it with buying those separately.

Is this the old ISOduce?

No. It is the upgraded formula: a 51% elderflower-powder base with 300mg of KSM-66® ashwagandha a sachet, L-arginine and cranberry added, 8 actives in all, in 3g sachets.

Are there side effects?

In the first few weeks, some women's periods come sooner or later than usual. It does not suit women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to conceive or have a hormone-sensitive condition. If you notice unusual bleeding or feel unwell, stop and see a doctor. See ISODUCE Plus side effects for details.

How long before I see results?

Wellous reports that most women notice a shift in their cycle and mood in the first month, with intimate comfort and skin catching up around months 2–3. Most ingredient studies measured results at 8 weeks, which is why we suggest a full 60 days (3 boxes) first. See how long ISODUCE Plus takes.
