How do you spot genuine BIO LingZhi? 6 checks before you buy in Singapore (KKM hologram)

Short answer: The quickest way to check BIO LingZhi is the bottle itself: genuine stock carries the KKM hologram with registration number MAL19987062T beside it. Before you buy, choose a distributor who can show proof of authorisation. When it arrives, check the original seal, the expiry date, the name and the specs. Much cheaper listings on Shopee, Lazada or Carousell may not be genuine, and if something goes wrong it is hard to trace.

Heads-up: Wellous has issued a notice asking customers not to buy on Shopee, Lazada, Carousell or other third-party platforms. Many listings there are fake, plenty of people only find out after buying, and some sellers pretend to be us.

What genuine stock looks like

6 checks before you buy

1. Look for the KKM hologram

When the parcel arrives, check the bottle has the KKM hologram and the number MAL19987062T. No hologram, or a number that doesn't match? Don't open it, and contact the seller straight away.

2. Can the seller show proof of authorisation?

Just ask. An authorised distributor can show it and won't mind. That goes for us too, so feel free to ask.

3. Is the price unreasonably low?

Much cheaper than S$89 a bottle? Be careful: it may not be genuine. Ask where it came from and when it expires. If the seller can't say, don't take the risk.

4. Is the seal intact?

Check the seal hasn't been opened or re-stuck, and the bottle isn't dented. Recording yourself opening the parcel makes any problem easier to sort out.

5. Is the expiry date clear?

The date should be printed clearly, not scratched off or covered by a sticker. If it is close to expiry, ask before you order.

6. Check the specs on the label

The label should say 250 mg reishi per tablet and 100 tablets a bottle. If the specs are vague or the numbers don't match, don't take it.

Why we don't recommend buying on Shopee, Lazada or Carousell

Most listings on Shopee, Lazada or Carousell are third-party resellers outside the authorised channel. The usual problems: unclear origin, unknown storage (the tablets should be kept below 30°C, away from light and moisture, and Singaporen heat in a warehouse or a parked car can affect them), nobody responsible if something goes wrong, and no money-back guarantee.

Buying from an authorised distributor gets you original sealed stock, advisor follow-up and the 30-day money-back guarantee.

After your parcel arrives

• Check the seal, the hologram and the registration number before opening.
• Store below 30°C, away from light and moisture, and out of reach of children.
• Don't take it if you are allergic to mushrooms.

Frequently asked questions

Is BIO LingZhi registered with KKM?

Yes. It is a KKM registered traditional product, MAL19987062T, printed on every bottle beside the KKM hologram.

Is BIO LingZhi halal?

Halvec Laboratories (a JAKIM panel laboratory) tested it and found no porcine content. For halal status, check the valid marking printed on the bottle.

Is a much cheaper listing online always fake?

Not always, but the risk is much higher. Origin, storage and expiry are hard to confirm, and there is no money-back guarantee. For something you swallow, a clear source matters more than saving a little.

How do I know what I buy from you is genuine?

We are an authorised distributor and ship only original, sealed Wellous stock with the KKM hologram on the bottle. If you're not satisfied, you get a full refund within 30 days.
