How do you spot genuine TIGROX Tiger Milk King in Canada? 6 checks before you buy (QR code)

Short answer: The quickest way to check TIGROX Tiger Milk King is genuine is to scan the anti-counterfeit QR code on the box. The Tiger Milk Mushroom cultivar it uses can also be traced to GenBank accession PX854920.1. Before you buy, choose a distributor who can show proof of authorisation. When it arrives, check the seal, expiry date, flavour and ingredients. Much cheaper listings on Shopee, Lazada or Carousell are mostly third-party resellers, with no advisor support and no money-back guarantee.

Heads-up: Wellous has issued a notice asking customers not to buy on Shopee, Lazada, Carousell or other third-party platforms. Many listings there are fake, plenty of people only find out after buying, and some sellers pretend to be us.

What does a genuine box look like?

What should I check before I buy?

1. Scan the QR code first

When your order arrives, scan the anti-counterfeit QR code on the box before anything else. If it doesn't verify, or there is no QR code, don't open it. Contact the seller straight away.

2. Can the seller show proof of authorisation?

Ask directly. An authorised distributor can show it and won't mind being asked. That goes for us too.

3. Is the price unreasonably low?

If it is much cheaper than usual and sold as "last few boxes" or "clearance", ask where the stock came from and when it expires. If the seller can't say, don't take the risk.

4. Is the box sealed?

Check the seal hasn't been opened or re-stuck, and that the box isn't crushed or damp. Film yourself opening the parcel. It makes any problem easier to sort out.

5. Is the expiry date clear?

The expiry date should be printed clearly, not scratched off or covered by a sticker. If it is close to expiry, ask before you order.

6. Count the sachets once it's open

A box should hold 20 sachets, each intact and not leaking, in the flavour you ordered.

Why not buy on Shopee, Lazada or Carousell?

Most listings on Shopee, Lazada or Carousell are third-party resellers outside the authorised channel. The usual problems: no clear source, unknown storage (Canadan heat in a warehouse or a parked car can affect the product), nobody responsible if something goes wrong, and no advisor support or money-back guarantee.

Buying from an authorised distributor gets you QR-verifiable stock, advisor support and the 30-day money-back guarantee.

What should I do once it arrives?

• Check the box and scan the code before you open it.
• Store it somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight. Don't leave it in the car.
• Read the ingredient list before you drink it. Don't take it if you have a mushroom allergy. It contains licorice, so if you have high blood pressure, ask your doctor first.

Frequently asked questions

Is TIGROX Halal?

Yes. It is Halal-certified, made in a GMP factory and NPRA-notified.

What is the GenBank number for?

It is the registration number for the Tiger Milk Mushroom cultivar. The WBF01 cultivar in TIGROX traces to GenBank accession PX854920.1, so you know which Tiger Milk Mushroom you are drinking.

Is a much cheaper listing online always fake?

Not always, but the risk is much higher. The source, storage and expiry date are hard to confirm, and there is no money-back guarantee. For something you drink, a clear source matters more than saving a little.

If I buy from you, how do I know it's genuine?

We are an authorised distributor. Boxes ship sealed, and you can scan each one's QR code. If you are not satisfied, you get a full refund within 30 days.
