When to take Immority MoveOn: morning or night, with or without food
Reviewed by Health Advisor Team
Short answer: Take one sachet of Immority MoveOn a day, in the morning after breakfast. The pack says to take it after a meal, and we suggest breakfast because it's done at the start of the day, it's hard to forget and it's easy to keep up for months. No water needed: shake, tear, sip, ideally chilled. Forgot this morning? Have it after lunch or dinner that day instead, but never more than one sachet a day. If you take prescription medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist before you start.
Morning or night: which is better?
The rule that matters is after a meal, once a day. Within that, we suggest the morning, straight after breakfast, for three practical reasons:
- It sticks. Joint support builds up over weeks and months, so the best time is the one you'll never skip. Breakfast happens every day, and pairing the sachet with it turns it into a habit.
- It's done early. No need to remember it at the end of a long day.
- It's easy to follow up. If breakfast gets missed, you still have lunch or dinner as a back-up that same day.
Evening after dinner also follows the label. If your mornings are chaotic and dinner is your one regular meal, that's fine. Pick one time and keep to it.
With or without food?
With food: take it after a meal, as the pack says. It's a 25ml liquid, so there's nothing to dissolve and no water to drink with it. Shake the sachet, tear it open and sip. It tastes of kiwi and green apple and is best chilled, so many people keep a few sachets in the fridge.
How many sachets a day?
One. A box holds 16 sachets and lasts 16 days. Don't take two to "catch up" or to speed things up. The formula is built around one sachet a day, with UC-II® at the 40mg dose used in published research.
What if you miss a sachet?
- Forgot after breakfast? Have it after lunch or dinner the same day.
- Missed the whole day? No harm done. Carry on with one sachet the next day; don't take two.
Weeks of routine count for far more than one missed day. Your advisor can help you set a reminder that suits your day.
Can you take it with other supplements?
Usually, yes. MoveOn already contains natural glucosamine and chondroitin from Ovomet®, so many people find they no longer need a separate glucosamine product. It also has vitamin D3, so if you take another vitamin D supplement, check the total with your pharmacist.
On prescription medicine, or managing a long-term condition? Ask your doctor or pharmacist before you start, and take the pack along so they can see the ingredients. The same goes if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

How long should you keep taking it?
Around the first week, many people say mornings feel less stiff; stairs and getting up from a chair can feel easier through weeks 2–6. Results vary. In the UC-II® research, the difference from placebo was clear by day 90, which is why we suggest the full 96 days (6 boxes, US$4.15 a day) before you judge it. Who shouldn't take it?
- Anyone allergic to egg: Ovomet® and BonePep™ are egg-derived
- Children: MoveOn is made for adults and has no children's serving
- Pregnant or breastfeeding, on medication, or managing a long-term condition: ask your doctor first
Frequently asked questions
Can I take MoveOn on an empty stomach?
The pack says to take it after a meal, so we suggest following that. After breakfast is the easiest routine to keep.
Can I take it at night instead?
Yes, after dinner works too. The key is once a day after a meal, at a time you'll stick to.
Do I need to drink water with it?
No. It's already a liquid. Shake, tear and sip; it's best chilled.
Can I take it with my medication?
Ask your doctor or pharmacist first, and show them the pack. They know your medication and can tell you what's right for you.
How should I store it?
Somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight. Chilling it before you drink is optional and just makes it taste better.
