How long does IMUGLO elderberry drink take to work? What happens from day 1 to day 60
Reviewed by Health Advisor Team
Short answer: How long TIGROX IMUGLO takes is different for everyone. The usual pattern: box 1 (days 1–20) builds the one-sachet-a-day habit, box 2 is when your defences start to feel sturdier, and by box 3 (day 60) that is your new normal. That is why we suggest at least 60 days. Maritech® fucoidan ingredient studies measured changes at 3 days, 1 week and 28 days, but those are studies of the ingredient, not of IMUGLO.
The timeline at a glance
| Time | Stage | What is happening |
|---|---|---|
| Day 1 · Box 1 begins | The habit begins | One sachet after a meal gives you elderberry, maitake, fucoidan and vitamin C together |
| Day 3 | The first signal in the research | In the fucoidan studies, immune cell levels rose within 3 days |
| Week 1 | Antibodies | In the same fucoidan studies, IgG antibodies rose 397% within one week |
| Days 21–40 · Box 2 | Sturdier | Crowded trains, cold air-con offices and long trips get easier to handle; the fucoidan studies measured higher phagocytic activity within 28 days |
| Days 41–60 · Box 3 | Strong and steady | Balanced defences become your baseline, with comfortable airways and a sturdier skin barrier |
The day-3, week-1 and day-28 figures come from Maritech® fucoidan studies quoted in the IMUGLO e-flyer. 1 box = 20 days at one sachet a day. Results vary from person to person.
Why at least 60 days?
Immune defence is built up daily. Box 1 makes the habit stick, box 2 is when many people start to feel their defences are sturdier, and box 3 makes "strong and steady" your normal. Three boxes is exactly 60 days, the minimum period we suggest for IMUGLO.
Why do some people notice changes sooner than others?
- Daily stress on your body: people who squeeze onto public transport, breathe traffic fumes or stay up late every day wear their defences down more.
- How regularly you drink it: only when you remember makes it hard to build up.
- Sleep and diet: short sleep and takeaway for every meal slow things down.
- Age: after 40, what you used to shrug off gets harder, and it may take longer.
No change after a week. Is that normal?
Yes. The point of box 1 is to build the habit. Check three things first:
- Do you drink one sachet every day?
- Do you drink it after the same meal each day?
- Are you looking after your sleep and diet too?

Frequently asked questions
Does IMUGLO work from day 3?
The day-3 rise in immune cell levels comes from Maritech® fucoidan ingredient studies, not from a study of IMUGLO. It does not mean you will notice anything on day 3. Everyone is different.
Do I have to drink it for 60 days?
No. To try it, 1 box lasts 20 days. To reach the minimum period we suggest, choose 3 boxes (60 days). For the whole family or long-term care, choose 6 boxes (120 days).
What happens if I stop?
Crowds, haze, late nights and eating out are there every day, and they wear your defences down every day. Many people keep drinking it as part of their daily routine after the first cycle.
Does it help if I only start when I'm already sick?
IMUGLO is a food, not a medicine, and it cannot treat any illness. If you feel unwell, see a doctor first. Its role is to help rebuild your defences day by day.
