How to verify MOVEON with the QR code, step by step

Short answer: Every box of MOVEON has an anti-counterfeit QR code on the back. When it arrives, check the box is properly sealed, scan the QR code with your phone camera, enter the security code as the pack instructions describe, and you'll see the verification result. If it doesn't verify, don't open it or drink it, and contact the seller or us straight away. Keep the box until you've finished it.

MOVEON comes as a box of 16 sachets, 25ml each. The QR code is printed on the box, not on each sachet, so you verify one box at a time.

What should you check first when it arrives?

Don't open it yet. Look at the outer box:

• Has it been opened or resealed?
• Has any part of it been cut, scratched off or covered with a sticker?
• Is the expiry date clearly printed?

Filming yourself opening the parcel makes any problem easier to sort out.

Where is the QR code?

Turn the box over: the anti-counterfeit QR code is on the back. If you can't find it, or that spot has been cut or scratched off, stop and don't open the box.

How do you scan it?

1. Open your phone camera and point it at the QR code on the back of the box. Most phone cameras read QR codes without a separate app.
2. Your phone will show a link. Tap it.
3. Enter the security code, following the instructions on the pack.
4. Read the verification result on the page.

If it won't scan, move somewhere brighter, hold the box flat and steady, and try again.

What does a genuine result look like?

The page shows the verification result for that box and tells you whether it's genuine. Once it passes, open the box and check that no sachet is damaged or leaking.

We don't quote the exact wording here; go by what the page shows. If the result is unclear or not what you expected, treat it as not yet verified and ask us.

What if it doesn't verify?

1. Stop: don't open it, and don't drink it.
2. Keep a record: photograph the front and back of the box, the QR code and the result page.
3. Contact the seller: go back to wherever you bought it. If you bought from us, message your advisor on Messenger.

Until you know it's genuine, wait. It's going into your body, so be sure first.

Why should you keep the box?

The box carries the QR code and the expiry date, so it's the box's ID. Until you've finished it, keep the sachets in their box somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight and not in the car. If you need to raise anything with the seller or your advisor later, the box is the clearest record you have.

Does every sachet have a QR code?

No. The QR code is on the back of the box, one per box, not on each sachet. That's why you keep the box.

What does it mean if there's no QR code, or it's been cut off?

What else should I check after scanning?
