MOVEON and LIVEON together: can you take both, when, and who should ask a doctor first?
Reviewed by Health Advisor Team
Short answer: Yes, you can take them together. MOVEON holds the joint up by supporting all five of its parts, while LIVEON defends against the oxidation and glycation that wear the body down every day. They do different jobs with different ingredients, so you simply take one of each after breakfast. Anyone allergic to egg should not take the pair. If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, on medication (including blood thinners) or managing a long-term condition, ask your doctor or pharmacist first.

How do the two divide the work?
The first layer is the joint itself. A joint has five working parts, and ordinary glucosamine only feeds the cartilage. MOVEON runs three pathways at once. UC-II® at 40mg teaches the immune system to stop attacking joint collagen (balance). Ovomet® eggshell membrane supplies collagen, hyaluronic acid and elastin (replenish). BonePep™ with vitamin D3 looks after the bone under the cartilage (reinforce).
The second layer is the daily wear. Two processes run in the background every day:
- Oxidation. Free radicals rise with age, stress and poor sleep, while your body makes less of its own antioxidant enzyme, SOD. LIVEON's SOD Extramel® tops up that enzyme, and in published data Enzogenol® New Zealand pine bark reduced oxidative damage to proteins and DNA over 6–12 weeks.
- Glycation. Sugar binds to collagen and elastin and turns springy fibres stiff and brittle, and those two proteins are what connective tissue is made from. Each LIVEON sachet carries 100mg of vitamin C, which works with grape seed and giant knotweed to support collagen against glycation.
One supports the structure, the other defends against the wear. All of the research above is on the ingredients, not trials of MOVEON or LIVEON themselves.
Is it too much to take both?
No. The patented ingredients are entirely different, and each product is one sachet a day. The one shared thing to know: both contain turmeric-family ingredients, so if you take blood thinners, speak to your doctor before starting.
When should you take them?
One of each every morning after breakfast. Shake, tear and drink, no water needed, and both taste best cold. Two jobs, one habit.
- Forgot in the morning? Have them after lunch or dinner that day, but never more than one of each a day.
- Missed a whole day? Carry on with one of each the next day. Don't double up.
On its own, LIVEON can go after whichever meal you'll remember. Alongside MOVEON, we suggest keeping both to breakfast.
Who should ask a doctor first?
- Egg allergy: don't take the pair. MOVEON's Ovomet® comes from eggshell membrane and BonePep™ from egg yolk.
- On medication, including blood thinners, or a long-term condition: ask your doctor or pharmacist.
- Diabetic or on blood-sugar medication: keep taking it and keep seeing your doctor, and ask them before adding LIVEON.
- Pregnant or breastfeeding: ask your doctor.
- Children: not recommended. Both are made for adults.
Both are health functional foods, not medicines, and neither replaces your doctor's treatment. Individual results vary.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to take both?
No. MOVEON is a complete joint product by itself, and many people take only that. LIVEON is the addition for antioxidant support and everyday energy.
Which sachet goes first?
It doesn't matter. Take one of each after breakfast.
How soon will I notice anything?
Most people feel less stiff in the morning within about a week. Energy and sleep tend to follow in 1–2 weeks, and mobility usually improves in weeks 2–4. Results vary.
Can my parents take both?
Yes. Hand them one of each after breakfast. If they take medicine or have a diagnosed condition, ask their doctor first. See MOVEON for parents.
What if it doesn't work for me?
If you don't feel a genuine difference within 30 days, message your advisor and you get 100% of what you paid back.
