Why is MOVEON cheaper on Shopee or Lazada? What cut codes and missing QR mean

Reviewed by Health Advisor Team

Short answer: MOVEON is cheaper on online marketplaces mostly because that stock sits outside the authorised channel. On some boxes the tracking code has been cut off or the QR code is missing, so you can't trace where the box came from, how long it has been sitting or how it was stored. From an authorised distributor one box is NZ$160, the same price everywhere, and you get a QR code on every box to check it's genuine, free delivery, a 30-day money-back guarantee (even if opened) and a real advisor.

How much does MOVEON sell for on marketplaces?

Where Price seen (observed Oct 2026)
Lazada New Zealand about RM209–243 a box
Authorised distributor (such as us) NZ$160 a box

Some Lazada listings say it outright in the title: "NO QR Code 有盒割码" (box included, code cut). Singapore shows the same pattern: single boxes on Shopee at about S$89.80–98.90 and on Carousell at about S$80–85 (observed Oct 2026), all below the Singapore list price.

Saving a few ringgit sounds good. The catch is that what's missing from the cheaper box is usually the very thing that lets you check it's genuine.

What does a "cut code" mean?

A cut code means the code printed on the box to trace where it came from has been cut or scratched off. "Box included, code cut" means you get the box, but that code is gone.

Without it, nobody can tell which batch the box belongs to or which channel it left through. If something is wrong, it's hard to find anyone responsible.

What's the problem with a missing QR code?

Every genuine MOVEON box has an anti-counterfeit QR code on the back. Scan it, enter the security code, and you can check whether the box is genuine. It's a check you can do yourself at home.

A "NO QR Code" listing takes that check away. All you have is the seller's word. The steps are in how to verify MOVEON with the QR code.

Why do some listings spell it "Move0n"?

Some listings write MOVEON as "Move0n" (a zero in place of the letter O) or use other spellings. An altered name makes it harder to know exactly what you're looking at when you search and compare. Authorised sellers sell MOVEON under its own name.

What other risks come with cheaper stock?

  • Expiry: some buyers say in reviews that they received expired or nearly expired goods. Sometimes the low price is there because the date is close.
  • Storage: New Zealand is hot, and you can't know how long a box sat in a warehouse, a car or the sun. MOVEON is a liquid sachet and should be kept somewhere cool and dry.
  • Nobody to call: with no clear source, nobody follows up, and there's usually no money-back guarantee.

Each MOVEON sachet carries 40mg of UC-II® and 500mg of turmeric, with Ovomet® and BonePep™. Those doses are the point. With stock of unknown origin, you pay without being sure what you're drinking.

Why is the authorised price the same everywhere?

Authorised distributors all sell at the same list price, so one box is NZ$160 whichever authorised distributor you buy from, and multi-box plans cost the same too (see MOVEON price in New Zealand).

We don't compete by cutting prices. The money goes into things you can see: genuine stock, delivery, the guarantee and your advisor. When a price is far below list, ask first: where did this box come from?

Frequently asked questions

Is cheap MOVEON on a marketplace always fake?

Not always. But with a cut code or no QR code you have no way to check for yourself, and no way to trace the source, storage or expiry. Wellous has issued a notice asking customers not to buy on Shopee, Lazada, Carousell or other third-party platforms.

The seller says it's "genuine, just code-cut". Can I trust that?

You have no way to check it. The point of genuine stock is that you can scan the QR code and confirm it yourself, without relying on the seller.

I've already bought from a marketplace. What now?

Don't open it yet. Look for the QR code on the back of the box and scan it if there is one. If there's no QR code, it doesn't verify, or the expiry date is unclear, don't drink it, and contact the seller.

Do you ever run discounts?

Buying more costs less: 3 boxes save NZ$120 and 6 boxes save NZ$240. Limited-time offers show on the product page. We never sell code-cut stock or boxes without a QR code.
